ALSACE WINES
HUNAWIHR
Alsace has always held a special place in my heart. Nestled at the foothills of the Vosges Mountains, this region is a true paradise for winemaking, with its diverse soils and deep-rooted traditions.
Born in Burgundy, my journey into the world of wine began with my studies in Dijon. After five years of dedication, I earned the national diploma of oenologist.
My husband and I established our winery in Hunawihr, a charming village between Ribeauvillé and Riquewihr, where we are dedicated to crafting wines that reflect our terroir.
I focus on allowing each vineyard to express its unique character. The rich mosaic of granite, limestone, and schist soils imparts distinctive qualities to our wines—whether it’s the vibrancy of Riesling or the exotic, spicy depth of Gewurztraminer.
As a mother, I place great emphasis on aligning all my actions with sustainable practices. Hence, the transition to organic farming unfolded naturally.
RIESLING
A.O.C. ALSACE

Dry white wine
"It is a truly vibrant wine that I like to pour as “welcome drink” for my friends. It is a palate pleaser for the aperitif but also the best companion to start a diner."
GEOLOGY: Clay-limestone soil gives Riesling excellent structure and a unique expression. Clay retains water, ensuring slow and balanced ripening, while limestone imparts minerality and tension.
VINEYARD: This wine is crafted with respect for nature, following organic practices to preserve the purity of the grapes and the balance of the ecosystem. No synthetic chemicals or pesticides are used, allowing the vineyard to thrive naturally and express its true terroir.
CELLAR: The grapes are picked by hand before being pressed whole bunch. Following a long and soft pressing the juice is transferred to tank for gentle static settling. The slow, cool, natural fermentation can last up to three months, followed by few months of ageing. All these details help us reflect and preserve the "sense of place"
TASTING
APPEARANCE: Pale straw in appearance with green hues and a brilliant clarity.
NOSE: Intensely aromatic, revealing layers of orange blossom, fresh lime zest, and ripe tropical fruits like pineapple and passion fruit, intertwined with delicate hints of wet stone and white peach.
PALATE: A classic Alsace Riesling, offering a vibrant fusion of zesty citrus, lemon curd, and crisp green apple. The palate is beautifully structured with a refined minerality, reminiscent of crushed slate, and a refreshing natural acidity that lingers on a long, elegant finish.
FOOD & WINE
On its own, Riesling is a mouth-watering aperitif, especially on a bright summer's day. The 'zing' of Riesling is a delightful complement to the fresh flavors of seafood, shellfish and white fish, and enhances citrus or garlic-based sauces.
PINOT GRIS
A.O.C. ALSACE

"Far from the Pinot Grigio stereotype, Alsace Pinot is more intense, complex and full bodied. I am a big fan of Spanish “Jamon”, and I think the Pinot Gris is a great teammate for it. It works also really well with aged Gouda."
GEOLOGY: Clay is the essential component of this wine. Pinot Gris on this terroir have a weighty structure and take time to reveal their true nature. The strong presence of clay explains a taste of tannins even if this is a white wine!

TASTING
APPEARANCE: Pale straw. Brilliant in clarity.
NOSE: Lifted aromas of pear, green apple, and cinnamon spice, with a delicate hint of toasted spice adding depth.
PALATE: Fresh and dry with a rounded texture and a fine acidic backbone, the palate beautifully combines the fresh flavors of green apples, pears, and ‘just picked’ quinces with the exotic spicy undertones of cinnamon and cloves. A subtle, lightly wooded character enhances the wine’s complexity, bringing finesse and a smooth, lingering finish.
FOOD & WINE
The gentle acidity and marked fruitiness of a well-balanced Pinot Gris perfectly complements roast pork with a stewed pear sauce, or match with creamy pastas, poultry and seafood.
